The topic of this painting is my exploration of my shadow self. In spirituality, you are considered to have a higher self, a shadow, and an inner child. "Nasiet" is the name of my shadow in this composition. To illustrate how our shadows can cognitively program us, I painted my shadow emerging from the TV while I was playing video games. Since I have control over my shadow, the figure on the right represents me holding a controller.
