This piece is about the balance between light and dark. The angels are battling it out for the number one spot in the subconscious, conscious, and so many other balance battles in life. I am consistently battling myself so I depicted what it felt like in this piece. The loose background was influenced by Jean Micheal Basquiat and the way he approached paint. I used a combination of different colors to bring the piece alive.
